7TH GENERAL MEETING OR HOW THE CONSORTIUM FINALLY MET IN PERSON AGAIN

What: COMPILE 7^th General Meeting

Where: Lisbon, Portugal

When: 24^th – 25^th November 2021

After two years of online General Meetings (GM), we are happy that the consortium finally met in person again! 7^th GM was held on 24^th and 25^th November and this time our host was the Portughese partner from Lisbon, Coopernico. 13 project partners from 7 different EU countries, represented by 24 team members, attended the meeting.

Since the project has recently entered the last year, the meeting was focused on plans how to finalise the remaining work, exploit the results and strengthen the cooperation with various stakeholders. The first day was dedicated to the presentations of the Work Packages (WP) 1, 3, 4, 6 and 7. Besides that, the coordinator performed a workshop on the publication strategy where partners shared the ideas for new scientific papers. A broader discussion was has held regarding the financial status of the project and plan for activities within international cooperation.

The second day started with the updates on the pilot sites. All of them are progressing according to the plan. The last phase of the project will be mostly directed to the tools’ integration, data collection, assessment and evaluation and some additional activities in the field of community engagement. To continue, technical partner ETRA held a workshop on data management. The presentation of WP8 was mostly focused on the upcoming Winter School and its agenda.

We concluded the meeting with an informal activity – we visited the São Jorge Castle and got to enjoy the beautiful and vibrant Lisbon city center.

The next General Meeting is planned for May next year, hopefully in person again.
