COMPILE IN SST 2020: EVENT ANNOUNCEMENT

This year, the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Information Technology in Osijek, Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek (FERIT) is hosting and organizing the fourth international scientific conference “International Conference on Smart Systems and Technologies 2020” (SST 2020), which will take place from 14^th to 16^th October 2020 in Osijek. It will be organised as a hybrid event that combines physical and virtual online participation.

The conference will provide a platform for researchers and practitioners interested in the theory and practice of smart systems and technologies related to electrical engineering, communications, computer science and engineering, control systems, robotics, as well as interdisciplinary research and applications. The supervisory and program committee of the conference brings together over 70 distinguished scientists from about 20 countries. Besides the papers presented, there will also be four workshops, two invited lectures and two technical lectures.

The workshop “Energy Communities for Citizen Participation in the Energy Network” will be organised by COMPILE partners the University of Ljubljana, Petrol d.d. and ZEZ covering current regulation framework, potential benefits of EnC and the progress of the project. It will be held on Friday, 16^th October 2020, 9:00-10:30 (CET).
