What: COMPILE workshop during the Sustainable Places 2020

H2020 sister projects on energy islands iELECTRIX, MERLON, MUSE GRIDS and COMPILE are organising a workshop “Energy Communities in Practice: The What’s and the How’s” which will tackle the question of establishment and operation of energy communities across the EU Member States. Different aspects and key learnings from the above-mentioned projects so far will be discussed.

The workshop will be held on the second day of the conference, Wednesday 28th October, between 14:00 and 17:00.

Sustainable Places is an annual international conference focused on showcasing results of EU projects on innovation for the built environment. The 8th edition, Sustainable Places 2020 (27-30 October), will be held over four days in a virtual format to facilitate thematic presentations and fruitful discussion on topics such as circular economy, digital twins, BIPV, local energy communities, sustainable digital infrastructure, etc. Between the opening and closing keynote sessions, parallel technical sessions and project-organized workshops will be held on conference topic areas.
