COMPILE PROJECT INTERNSHIP: FRENCH INTERN STUDYING THE FORECASTING TECHNIQUES

What: COMPILE project internship

Where: Remote – teleworking

When: June – August 2020

We are happy to see that the topics and challenges addressed within the COMPILE project are appealing also to students. Ms. Chloé Gaignard from France is remotely collaborating with the COMPILE partner and coordinator Laboratory of Energy Policy (LEST) from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Ljubljana.

Ms. Gaignard studies at Grenoble INP – Ense3 engineer school with a focus on energy, water and environmental sciences. She started her 10 weeks internship in the LEST team in June 2020. Her internship is remote and is organised as a teleworking from France. The collaboration is supervised by Assoc. Prof. Andrej Gubina and researcher Ms. Chloé Fournely. In the first phase, Ms. Gaignard will get familiar with the project and start studying the different approaches of the research which will lead her to the main subject of her internship – “Comparative analysis of different forecasting techniques for PV production and buildings consumption”. Her work is related to the activities in Work Package 3 (Modelling, control and digitization of the local energy system).
