We are delighted to inform you that our project continues drawing the attention of the wider community and that our work has been presented over the European borders again. This time we reached China.

On December 15^th, 2021, an article, supported by the video, titled “Shining bright: Slovenian village goes self-sufficient with solar power” was published on the website of China Global Television Network (CGTN). The reporter visited Luče where he interviewed one of its residents and energy community members, Mr. Tomaž Robnik, who put solar panels on the rooftop of his family home and installed a small solar power station. Besides, he spoke also with the major, Mr. Ciril Rosc, and visited our partner Petrol in Ljubljana, who operates the energy community. Mr. Bojan Stojanović, the Head of EU projects at Petrol, explained a bit about the background of establishing the community.
