The Annual Conference organized by YES-Europe and PoliENERGY was held between the 22^nd and 23^rd of April 2022 in Turin in Italy. Besides the live event, panels and conferences were also streamed online.

There were a lot of Compile activities during the Energy Day (22nd April) at the conference.  At the panel on Renewable energy sources to boost sustainable development, Stephan Schwarzinger, a member of Compile’s partner Joanneum Research, shared his project experience. Following the panel project coordinator Tomi Medved, Alexandros Chronis from Rufina and Stephan Schwarzinger organized a workshop on the Compile maturity scale. Participants were envisioning themselves as builders of a new energy community in their neighborhood.

However, the Compile team’s day was not yet done.  After lunch, Tomi Medved shared his ideas in a panel discussion titled Energy storage solutions for a cleaner energy transition and presented COMPILE project at the keynote session.

During the conference, COMPILE project had its own stand at the venue. Many curious visitors stopped by and got involved in networking and discussion with the project team members and representatives of the University of Ljubljana (UL).
