When: 30th November – 2nd December 2021
The Enlit Europe Conference (formerly European Utility Week and POWERGEN Europe) was held between 30 November and 2 December in Milan, Italy. Besides the live event, a digital platform Enlit 365 has been established. It serves as a community that for 365-days a year collaborates and innovates to solve the most pressing issues in energy. Enlit Europe 2021 saw the attendance of more than 10.000 attendees, 500 exhibitors and 350 speakers.
COMPILE project had its own stand in the EU Project Zone. Many curious visitors stopped by and got involved in networking and discussions with project team members and representatives of the University of Ljubljana (UL). Besides, Tomi Medved, PhD, from the UL, participated in the hub sessions of the EU Project Zone titled “Citizens at the center: Creating a consumer-centric digitalization strategy”. After a 10 min presentation of the projects, there was a panel discussion on the active role of the citizens, collective action and the role of energy communities. The session was moderated by Stanislas d’Herbemont, the representative of COMPILE partner REScoop.eu and Chair of the BRIDGE Consumer and Citizens Engagement Working Group.
During the event, CINEA introduced a new brochure, Supporting Innovative Solutions for Smart Grids and Storage – 2021, which highlights examples of 15 innovative projects among which is also the COMPILE.
Enlit Europe 2021, thank you for the rich and superb experience! We are looking forward to joining the next Enlit in Frankfurt.
