EUSEW 2021 WORKSHOP ANNOUNCEMENT

The EU Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW) is a month-long series of activities to build a secure energy future for Europe. It brings together public authorities, private companies, NGOs and consumers to promote initiatives to save energy and move towards renewables for clean, secure and efficient power. This year it will take place online between 25 and 28 October.
During the extended programme (October 11 – 22) of this year’s event 6 innovative projects FLEXnCONFU, IElectrix, MERLON, MUSE GRIDS and ROBINSON will organise a workshop session aiming to demonstrate how Energy Storage Systems are key components to reshape European Energy Systems in the next decade and to reach the EU sustainable targets.
The workshop will take the form of short presentations from the involved speakers and will focus on highlighting several use cases of Energy Storage Systems in the above-mentioned projects. COMPILE will be represented by the project coordinator Laboratory of Energy Policy (LEST) from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Ljubljana.
