WELS HOSTED THE EUROPEAN ENERGY EFFICIENCY CONFERENCE 2020

What: COMPILE in the European Energy Efficiency Conference 2020

Where: Wels, Austria

When: 4^th – 6^th March 2020

European Energy Efficiency Conference 2020 is a part of World Sustainable Energy Days (WSED), organised by the Energy Agency of Upper Austria (OÖ Energiesparverband) in Wels, Austria. Conference attracts over 400 participants from over 50 countries each year. This year it addressed mainly the clean energy transition in Europe and worldwide, with “energy efficiency first” and “global leadership in renewables” at the centre of the transformation process.

COMPILE project was represented by its partner REScoop.eu during the workshop “Green Financing: Unlocking the local energy transition”. Solutions for partnership between municipalities, local authorities and energy communities, based on the experiences of our pilots, were introduced. Besides, Mr. Stanislas d’Herbemont, REScoop.eu, had the chance to host workshops to build tailored solutions for local authorities and energy communities.
